I shall trust in the Lord,
For His promises are Yes! and Amen!
He is Good all the time,
He is my stronghold at times of trouble,
and He knows me intimately because I trust in Him.
Indeed! I will prosper,
for I am blessed coming in and going out.
His word declares the truth,
and His Spirit I shall trust.
My hope and my trust is set on the Lord,
and like Abram, He has credited it to me as righteousness,
because I trust in Him.
No, I have not gained righteousness,
nor can I ever.
"For if righteousness could be gained through the law, then Christ died for nothing!"
I shall love the Lord,
with all my heart and soul,
The Lord always preserves the faithful.
And the Lord will avenge and repay in full the proud!
I will be strong and take heart!
For that is His command!
I will step out with strength and courage,
I will not be terrified by my enemies,
nor will i be shaken.
For greater is He who is in us,
than the one who is in the World!
I will trust in the Lord.
